Where to play in Guildford

Guildford offers a compact but varied circuit for independent musicians. Theatres shape much of the local calendar, from the mid scale rooms of G Live and the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre to the more intimate Electric Theatre, where smaller bills sit closer to the audience. Clubs give the town its late night pulse and often host live sets or promoter run nights. Event venues such as The Boileroom are the natural home for original bands and grassroots promoters, while outdoor stages including Guildford Bandstand suit acoustic sets and daytime slots in warmer months. The listings below gather the practical details you need: venue type, location and, where available, direct contacts for the person who actually books the room. Approaching bookers yourself means you control the pitch, the timing and the follow up. Send a short message, a link to your music and clear availability, then keep track of who replies.
