Where to play in Dundee

Dundee gives an independent musician a compact scene to work with. The city mixes concert venues, clubs and theatres with pubs, cultural centres, live bars, community halls and event venues, so the same week can hold a seated room, a late club slot and a back bar with a small stage. Rooms like Dundee Rep, Gardyne Theatre, Dundee Contemporary Arts, Beat Generator Live! and Molly Malones each programme in their own way, and they rarely want the same pitch. That is why direct contact matters. Our database lists the people who actually book these rooms, with the email addresses and phone numbers behind them, so you can send your material to a named programmer rather than a general enquiry form. Read the venue type, check what has been on lately, then write briefly and honestly about your act, your draw in the area and the dates you are holding.
